Renewals fire it too, and cancellation and interval events tell you when access should change. ## Where B2B software billing usually stalls 01 ### Procurement will not pay an unusable document A payment that produces only a card receipt creates work for someone in finance who was not part of the buying decision. Capturing the tax ID during checkout and issuing an invoice from it removes the follow-up entirely. 02 ### Your customers are international before you plan for it Software sells across borders on day one. Every one of those sales creates a registration question somewhere. There is no purchase-order workflow, no invoice raised in advance to be settled in thirty days, and no credit extended.
