Wes Abrams and a team of two wanted to sell Steam keys directly to players as an extension of abramsstudios.com, so the branding stayed theirs. Two things stood in the way. With three people, a high-maintenance commerce platform was not financially viable. And whatever they used had to look like the rest of their site rather than an obvious bolt-on. 02 ## The solution The free website builder let them set the fonts and colours to match their existing brand, so the shop reads as part of abramsstudios.com rather than somewhere else players get sent. There was nothing to pay up front and nothing to configure at length — no developer time, no plugin stack. Payments are integrated natively, and payouts land every 24 hours, which for a studio this size is the difference between having working capital and waiting for it. With no maintenance cost to cover, the return was immediate: every sale is profit rather than the first step towards paying off the platform.
