The crypto stops at the checkout. Settlement in normal currency Net revenue reaches the payout account you connected, in that country's settlement currency, daily by default. There is no crypto payout option. One method among many Crypto sits alongside cards, wallets, bank redirects, vouchers, buy-now-pay-later, SEPA and PayPal. Which ones a buyer sees depends on their country and the currency you charge in. Tax still applies A crypto payment is a sale like any other. VAT, GST or US sales tax for the buyer's country is calculated at checkout and filed by us as the seller of record. Reachable from WooCommerce Our WooCommerce plugin syncs products, sends buyers to our checkout and syncs orders back, so the method list arrives with it rather than as a separate integration. Or without WordPress at all The same checkout opens from a hosted store, an overlay on your own page, a link, or the SDK, if the WooCommerce install exists only to sell downloads. ## Diagnosing what you actually need 1. 01 ### Find out where the failures are Abandoned checkouts cluster by country. A market where nobody completes a purchase is usually a market where the method on offer is not the one people use. 2. 02 ### Check whether a local method exists iDEAL in the Netherlands, SEPA across the euro area, Multibanco in Portugal, Naver Pay and Kakao Pay in South Korea. In several countries a bank transfer or a wallet outsells cards outright. 3. 03 ### Look at the price the buyer sees A foreign currency a buyer has to convert in their head is its own conversion problem. Localised pricing and tax-inclusive totals remove the arithmetic from the decision. 4. 04 ### Turn crypto on for the buyers who want it For an audience that genuinely holds crypto, it is there. For everyone else, it will not be the method that closes the gap, and it is worth knowing which situation you are in. ## Being clear about what this is not 01 ### Not a self-custody crypto gateway If your requirement is receiving on-chain funds into a wallet you control, on chains you choose, this is not that product. We accept crypto as a payment method and pay you in ordinary money. 02 ### Not a way around the compliance A crypto sale is a taxable sale in the buyer's jurisdiction and is treated as one here. Being the Merchant of Record is the substance of what we do, and it applies to every method equally. 03 ### Digital goods only, whatever the method Software, subscriptions, game keys, in-game items, courses and downloads. A WooCommerce store shipping physical products is not a fit for us, and a crypto plugin on that store is a different conversation. 04 ### The economics do not change by method 5% + 50¢ per successful transaction whether it was a card, a bank transfer or a stablecoin. No monthly fee, no per-method surcharge, nothing in a month with no sales.
