The builder is free, and the checkout is already wired into it
A studio without a web developer usually ends up picking between a page that looks like the game and a page that can take money. Here they are the same page, made in the same editor, and keeping it online costs nothing. The only money that changes hands is a share of a sale that actually happened.
What you get without a monthly bill
- Hosting, included
- There is no server to rent and no invoice that grows on the day a video about your game does well. Traffic is not something you provision for or get charged extra on.
- The editor, before you sign up
- The builder opens at app.fungies.io/builder with no account. You can lay out your game's page and see whether the result suits it before creating anything or handing over an email address.
- Products on the page itself
- Keys, editions, in-game items, bundles and downloads come from the same catalogue that powers the checkout, so putting something on sale is a content change rather than an integration.
- A checkout with nothing to configure
- No payment plugin, no gateway account to apply for, no merchant application to be approved for. Hosted, overlay and embedded checkouts are all available the moment a product exists.
- The plumbing that gets you found
- A sitemap, SEO settings and a Google Merchant Center feed are generated with the site. Pages can be translated, which matters when your players are not in the country you are.
- Somewhere for buyers to go afterwards
- A branded portal holds their orders, downloads and keys. Without one, every lost-key email is a message somebody at the studio has to answer by hand.
What a studio with no web person does
- 01
Open the editor and look at it
No signup, no card, no trial clock running in the background. If the layouts do not suit your game you have lost twenty minutes rather than a subscription.
- 02
Drop in the art, the trailer and the pitch
Pages are built from sections — text, image, video, gallery, slider, feature points, recent products — each styled on its own. Reordering them is dragging, not editing a template file.
- 03
Add what you are selling
Create the product, set the price, upload keys or files if there are any. The buy button is part of the same system rather than a plugin you have to make talk to it.
- 04
Publish, then attach a domain
The site is live on a Fungies subdomain straight away. When you are ready, point the domain you own for the game at it — custom domains route through Cloudflare for DDoS protection, which has been required since October 2024.
Where money does and does not change hands
Free here means no monthly fee
Not a trial, not a free tier with the shop switched off. There is no subscription for the builder, no hosting charge and no per-product listing cost. We take 5% + 50¢ on successful transactions, which means a month with no sales costs nothing. Negotiable once you are selling at volume.
The domain is still yours to buy
We do not sell domains. If you want the site on your game's own address rather than a subdomain, that registration is a bill from somebody else — the only recurring cost in this arrangement, and one you would be paying anyway.
The integration you do not write is the bigger saving
The visible cost of a game site is hosting. The real cost is somebody wiring up a payment provider, then a tax service, then discovering that the two disagree about what a refund is. None of that work exists here, because the shop and the site are one product.
Nothing gates you before you build
There is no underwriting queue between you and a working page. Verification and payout onboarding happen at the point you want to receive money, not at the point you want to start.
What sellers say once they have switched
★★★★★ 4.8/5 from 10 reviews on G2 →
Vadim Finayev “We work with quite a few merchants of record, but none comes close to the support and speed of implementation of Fungies. If you want a payment partner that actually gives you the feeling they want to work with you — rather than leaving you on read for three days or randomly restricting your account — you are in the right place.”
David Elliott “I researched the options and Fungies was the best fit for functionality and customisation within a store builder you can connect to your own domain. Taking a small percentage of sales, instead of charging a subscription for every environment and plugin, is refreshing.”
Elnura Abdimanap Kyzy “The platform is user-friendly, integrates easily with APIs and webhooks, and simplifies managing digital products and subscriptions. We were up and running quickly and support has been responsive throughout. Fungies is clearly tailored to the needs of SaaS businesses.”
Francisco Magnone Rienzi “Fungies has been a great partner — fast setup, competitive pricing, and real humans providing quick answers. They are constantly rolling out new features, and I am excited to see what is next.”
What studios without a web team ask
Selling to players without a marketplace in the middle.
See your game's page before you commit to anything
Open the builder without an account, put the hero art in, and decide afterwards whether it is worth publishing.
